A must-visit destination for any maritime history or boating enthusiast, the Herreshoff Marine Museum is an engaging exploration of the U.S.'s yachting history. Celebrating the contributions of the Herreshoff Manufacturing Company, the museum explores the innovations and history of the esteemed boat designer. Take a docent-led tour of sixty boats designed by Herreshoff, ranging from Rhode Island's oldest boat, the 1849 Sprite, to the 75-foot Defiant, which successfully defended in the 1992 America's Cup.
