History

Built in 2002, the Bristol Harbor Inn is a boutique-style, waterfront inn located in the heart of downtown Bristol, RI on the Thames Street Landing - offering spectacular views of Narragansett Bay.

The Bristol Harbor’s Inn’s 40-rooms are decorated in a contemporary, colonial-style with French country fabric patterns, some overlooking Bristol Harbor, home to many sailboats and breathtaking sunsets. The Inn is ideally located near boutique shops, restaurants and nightlife. The Inn has 40 units with 28 one-bedroom standard units, 12 one-bedroom suites with 4 stories and interior corridors.

Bristol, RI, known as the most Patriotic town in America, is home to the oldest continuous Fourth of July celebration of its kind in the United States. Bristol’s 4th of July parade route is lined with historic homes that are meticulously kept and its main street is decorated year round with a red, white and blue center stripe.

THE NATIONAL TRUST FOR HISTORIC PRESERVATION HAS AWARDED BRISTOL NATIONAL RECOGNITION AS A VACATION DESTINATION FOR 2009.  THE NATIONAL TRUST RECOGNIZED ONLY 12 COMMUNITIES THAT OFFER CULTURAL AND RECREATIONAL EXPERIENCES DIFFERENT FROM TYPICAL VACATION DESTINATIONS.  BRISTOL WAS CITED FOR BEING A "QUINTESSENTIAL NEW ENGLAND WATERFRONT TOWN" WITH AN "UNWAVERING COMMITMENT" TO PRESERVATION.
